Usap is a language learning application designed to help users learn Tagalog (Filipino) through interactive flashcards and spaced repetition. The App offers vocabulary, phrases, and sentences across multiple proficiency levels. All learning data is stored locally on your device.

Usap offers the following subscription plans to unlock premium features:

Auto-renewal: Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store or through usapwithlola.com. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

Usap offers a free tier with limited features, including access to Level 1 vocabulary and basic flashcard functionality. The specific features available on the free tier may change over time as the App evolves. Premium features require an active subscription.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all subscription plans. If you are not satisfied with Usap within 30 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting us at the email address below.

For purchases made through the Apple App Store, refund requests must be submitted through Apple's refund process, as those transactions are managed by Apple.

All educational content within the App, including vocabulary, translations, pronunciation guides, and example sentences, is provided "as-is" for language learning purposes. While we strive for accuracy, language is nuanced and regional variations exist.

Usap is a supplementary learning tool and is not a substitute for formal language education. We make no guarantees regarding fluency outcomes or the completeness of the language instruction provided.

Our content: All content within the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, audio, visual elements, software code, and educational materials — is the property of Usap and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Your data: Any personal learning data you generate through your use of the App (such as progress data and preferences) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your user-generated data.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App or its underlying software.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content or data from the App.
• Redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit the App's educational content.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any content or information provided through the App.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Usap and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice within the App.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. In the event that we permanently discontinue the App:

• Active Premium subscribers will retain access until the end of their current paid billing period. No refunds will be issued for the remaining portion of that period.
• We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice before permanently discontinuing the App.

All sales are final once the 30-day money-back guarantee period (described in Section 5) has passed.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California, United States.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
